History

Children’s hospitals were created in the 1800s-1900s, it was first created in France and then in England. They were designed to provide optimal care to infants and children in a specific environment where legal guardians admitted the children and where the special needs of children were catered for. Children's hospitals were created for people whose kids were sick but couldn’t handle the bill at a regular hospital and also for children who didn't have an diagnosis so they came to children’s hospital for them to hopefully find the diagnosis and possibly a cure(Which sadly didn’t always workout)

Children's hospital were basically created for sick/ill children to go and be cured but also created for comfort, while these children are being treated children's hospitals want them to be comfortable, so they decorate the rooms with a lot of colors and animals etc.

Over time Children's Hospitals have grown from when they first started out now hundreds of thousands of kids have been admitted into children's hospitals and pediatricans are helping kids heal and get better every day.

In a strictly modern sense, children's hospitals are usually considered to be instituitions that limit themselves to the are of sick children, This concept, hwoever, is not really true. A number of the larger children's hospitals over time have included within the sphere of their activities not only treatement but preventive care as well!
